District 31-J is one of 9 districts in the
Multiple District 31 (MD-31). We are located in
North Carolina, USA. Our district covers a fairly
large geographical area and runs from Wilson to Elizabeth
City, NC. We currently have 43 clubs in our
district. Each year we join together with two other
districts (G & H) to have a convention
(Mid-Winter). We usually have approximately 350 Lions
total attending the convention. We use this opportunity to
have fellowship and learn how other Lions are helping their
fellow man. Click

MD-31 map.
As Lions, we help the Blind and Visually
Handicapped in our area and around the world. The Lion
motto is "WE SERVE". For more information on
what Lions do see What are Lions.
The Lions of District J are members of the
North Carolina Lions Foundation. This foundation was
set up by the Lions of North Carolina to help provide
services for the Blind and Visually Handicapped in our
state. The foundation is located at Camp Dogwood,
which is the worlds foremost summer camps for the Blind and
Visually Impaired. To learn more about the North
Carolina Lions Foundation and Camp Dogwood click

We are always looking for civic minded
citizens who are willing to donate some time and effort
toward making our communities better places in which to
live. You can join us and learn more about what Lions really
do to help their fellow man. Membership in a Lions Club is
by invitation only. Through membership, Lions not only help
people in need, but they have opportunities to develop
personal friendships and gain valuable leadership skills
which can be used in their work or in their personal lives.
If you are interested in becoming a lion,
please contact us. Someone
will gladly make contact with you and explain what it takes
to join the largest service organization in the world.
